Hello friends! Today I have a quick clean & simple card using the Beautiful Branches set from Concord & 9th.
I made this card for the CASology challenge #300, where the theme is copper. To start, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock (110lb) down to 4.25 X 11 and scored it at 5.5 inches. Then I positioned the branch die from the set so that it was draping from the top of the card. I ran it through my die-cut machine with the top (base?) of the branch hanging off the cutting plate. This probably wasn’t necessary, but at the time, I didn’t want the branch to look like it was floating. Partial die-cutting “anchored” the branch.
After die-cutting, I stamped the cherry blossoms with pink ink and then stamped the details and sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with copper powder. And that was all there is to it!
As I mentioned, I’m entering this card into CASology #300:
Update: My card was chosen as the winner for the Copper CASology challenge! Many thanks to the DT for selecting my card!
